I’ve always wanted to be a mom, but after losing my husband to cancer a year earlier, I didn’t quite know what the future held.
Adopting a baby is something that always entered my mind, but once I decided to get serious about my research, I quickly realized that there is a sea of information out there. I didn’t know where to start. On my way home from work one day, I heard Becca Gruenspan, the founder of RG Adoption Consulting, being interviewed on The Infant Adoption Guide Podcast. I’d never heard of an adoption consultant before, but after spending several hours online on fact-finding missions, Becca’s words of wisdom playing over my car speakers that day was music to my ears! The next day, I called for a consultation and it was the best decision. For the first time, I felt like I had someone on my side to guide me through this adoption journey, which felt particularly overwhelming. Six months after our initial conversation, my dream came true, and today my heart is so full. Becca’s services didn’t end when I brought my son home. My son is the light that brightens up my every day, and I can’t wait for our many adventures!
